Lista Studios – Student Policy Agreement

Welcome to Lista Studios!
We are excited to have you as part of our creative community. Lista Studios is a safe and inclusive space where teens explore art, develop skills, and build portfolios for high school and college. To ensure that everyone can thrive here, we ask all students to read and agree to the following policies.

1. Respect for People and Space

• Treat all fellow students, instructors, and staff with kindness and respect.
• Respect others’ artwork, materials, and personal boundaries.
• Use inclusive language; bullying, discrimination, or harassment will not be tolerated.

2. Attendance & Punctuality

• Arrive on time for workshops to get the most out of your session.
• Let us know in advance if you will be absent or late.

3. Studio Care & Safety

• Use materials and tools responsibly; follow all safety instructions from instructors.
• Toxic materials are not allowed.
• Clean your workspace and return tools and supplies after use.
• No eating or drinking near art supplies, computers, or equipment.
• If something breaks or is damaged, notify a staff member immediately.

4. Personal Belongings

• Keep track of your own belongings; Lista Studios is not responsible for lost or stolen items. 
• Label your personal art supplies if you bring them, and put them away in your locker before leaving.

5. Technology Use

• Phones and personal devices should not disrupt class time, or disturb studio time.
• Taking photos/videos of other students or their work requires their permission.
• Any digital work created using studio equipment should follow our content guidelines (no offensive, explicit, or harmful material).

6. Creative Conduct

• We encourage experimentation and self-expression—but not at the expense of safety, respect, or inclusivity.
• Plagiarism or copying other artists’ work without credit is not allowed.
• Work on your own projects during open studio hours unless collaborating with permission.

7. Parental/Guardian Communication

(For students under 18)

• Parents/guardians will be informed of any ongoing issues regarding attendance, behavior, or safety.
• In case of emergency, we will contact your listed guardian immediately.
  
  

8. Workshop Cancellation & Refund Policy

• 100% refund for cancellations made more than 5 days before the start of the workshop.
  
  
• 75% refund for cancellations made less than 5 days before the start of the workshop.
  
  
• 50% pro-rated refund for cancellations after the start of the second session.
  
  
• No refunds will be issued after the third session begins.
  
  
• All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email.

9. Photography & Media Release

• By signing this agreement, students (and parents/guardians for minors) grant Lista Studios permission to photograph, record, and/or film students during classes, workshops, and events.
  
  
• These images and videos may be used for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, the Lista Studios website, printed materials, and press releases.
  
  
• Students will not receive compensation for the use of their image, and Lista Studios will not use any images in a way that could be considered offensive or harmful.
  
  
• If you prefer not to be photographed or appear on social media, please notify us in writing before the start of your first session.

10. Consequences for Policy Violations

• First: Verbal reminder/discussion with instructor.
  
  
• Second: Written notice and discussion with student and parent/guardian.
  
  
• Third: Possible suspension or removal from the program without refund.

Privacy Policy

• Personal Data: Name, email address, phone number, and physical address provided during registration.
• Financial Data: Transaction records, spending patterns, and budget data you input into the app.
• Usage Data: IP address, browser type, and interactions with our service collected automatically.

• Provide and maintain our services.
• Process transactions and manage your account.
• Send notifications regarding updates or security alerts.
• Improve app performance through aggregated, non-identifiable statistics.

• With your explicit consent.
• With trusted service providers who assist in our operations, under strict confidentiality.
• To comply with legal obligations or protect our rights.

• Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
• Opt out of marketing communications.
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
