Lista Studios is a community art space in Industry City, Brooklyn, offering art classes, workshops, and open studio time.

Artists Talk is a bi-weekly creative cohort designed for visual artists looking to push their work forward through consistency, peer feedback, and professional mentorship. More than just a critique group, this cohort is intended to be a space for inspiration, thoughtful dialogue, and building connections with other dedicated artists across NYC.  Itcreates learning communities designed to support artists at different stages in their career. This Cohort will be composed of 4-8 artists who are starting to transition their practice into a career.

Over 12 weeks, participants meet every other Monday for a two-hour facilitated cohort session. Each gathering provides dedicated time for presentation of completed or in progress work, group feedback and discussion, and creative journaling and goal setting for the next session. Participants are encouraged to continue making artwork independently during open studio sessions

Artists have access to dedicated studio time where they can meet, work together, exchange experiences, and learn from one another. Studio time is bolstered by guided group critiques that provide a safe space for artists to sharpen their ability to talk about their work and respond to feedback.

Lista Studios’ goal is to boost and intensify art in people’s life, amplifying their vision, making it more personal and sustainable.
