Discover how much color lives inside a seemingly simple shell.
Each participant will have a real seashell to observe and paint from life. We’ll begin by choosing an angle and arranging a simple composition, then explore how to translate its curves, subtle colors, and shadows into a small oil study.
With step-by-step demonstrations and individual guidance from artist Kristina Dubrovskaia, you’ll practice mixing warm and cool tones, using light and shadow to create volume, and choosing which details to emphasize.
The focus is on learning to look closely and paint with greater confidence, while leaving room for your own expressive brushwork.
All painting materials and shells to work from are provided. Beginners and painters with some experience are welcome.
Reserve your place at the painting table.
