This class will explore the wide range of Zines already existing in the wild and give a brief overview of the techniques one can use to print and bind their own Zines. Over four classes, students will come up with their own topic for a Zine, choose the production method most appropriate to their goals, and design their Zine for print. Through this exploration, students will strengthen their understanding of layout design, sequential storytelling, designing for print, and book design.
